With parking donations, plus the Β£2 per runner that Eden Runners are donating, we’ve helped raise a tidy sum today. These funds will help support outdoor conservation at Acorn Bank….

Eden Runners are delighted to be hosting, for the 4th year running, the Acorn Bank 10k. Same course, same fantastic atmosphere…

Sunday September 15th 2024.

The race starts and finishes in the beautiful grounds of the Acorn Bank National Trust Property and is an undulating road race (with a few challenging hills!) that will suit all abilities.  The race route is an accurately measured 10K route, registered with Run Britain, and runs along country lanes and tarmac footpaths

Continuing with the initiative we started in 2023, Eden Runners are very proud to be again supporting outdoor conservation projects at Acorn Bank by donating Β£2 from each entry towards this important cause!

Race Information

We’re busy getting everything ready for the race and have included important information for runners below…….

Parking, race registration and toilets are in the grounds of Acorn Bank.

Parking will be coordinated by parking marshals so please follow their instructions and please do not park on the race route! There is a suggested donation of Β£5 per car for parking which includes entry on the day to the Acorn Bank estate, gardens and house. This is suggested for both NT members and non-members as the charge is connected to the event. All parking proceeds will go to Acorn Bank (National Trust) to help look after this special place for now and future generations. The National Trust is a registered charity number 205846.

You can pick up race numbers at registration from 8am and no later than 9.30am when registration closes.

Race safety briefing will take place at 9.55am before the race start.

Under UKA rules wearing headphones, or a similar device, is not permitted. Race rules do not permit running with dogs.

If you’ve already entered and things have changed so you’re no longer able to take part, and you know someone who can take your place, you can transfer places yourself via the SiEntries online entry system. You must do this by Friday 13th September.
No transfers will be allowed on the day and no refunds or deferrals.

The minimum age limit is strictly 15 years old on the day of the race.

Prizes to Overall Winners: 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes for male and female
Other Prize Categories : Male and Female in U23 / V40 / V50 / V60 / V70 / 1st Club or Team of 3
